JBG is a lossless format used to store both black and white, and color images. It was developed by JBIG (Joint Bi-level Image Experts Group) for compressing pictures to send by fax but can also be used quite effectively on other images. It consists of a set of two-character encoding which determines the allocation of starting points in the plotter.
