Type42 was based on the PostScript language for displaying TrueType fonts. It allows for printing all TrueType fonts on PostScript printers and allows for rasterization when displayed. This is a format for storing raster images, developed by the Ulead Company. It can include several edible layers, like in a Photoshop document. The image raster format was transferred to the TrueType font system and allows for the presentation of graphical information in a text format.
