This was created for the Mac OS X operating system. Unlike the old operating environment versions, the font is stored in the thread of a data file instead of in resource threads. JFIF is a graphical data format that enables the exchange of compressed JPEG files between computers. The main feature of the format is the use of a marker to indicate parameters that are not used in the JPEG standard, namely, pixel geometry, pixel size and some other parameters.
