WBMP is a bitmaps wireless application protocol. Files with the extension .wbmp contain bitmap black and white images. In WBMP format monochrome images are in pixels. This format was developed by Kodak in order to store images on optical or other media. It is used as a format for archiving scanned documents on Kodak devices. It encodes images in 24-bit color and supports resolutions of up to 6144x4096 pixels.
