PGM is a storage format for grayscale images. Files in this format can be opened using software: ACDSee Photo Manager 14, ACD Systems Canvas 15, Corel PaintShop Pro X4. This is a color system for displaying image and video files. The luminance component (Y) in UYVY is digitized at each point, whereas the color difference components (U, V) are digitized two times less frequently. It has a 16 bits/pixel structure, and it is used in video rendering and image editors.
