JFIF is a graphical data format that enables the exchange of compressed JPEG files between computers. The main feature of the format is the use of a marker to indicate parameters that are not used in the JPEG standard, namely, pixel geometry, pixel size and some other parameters.

AVIF is the youngest, but most efficient and advanced codec for image compression. AVIF file size is 10 times smaller than JPEG with the same image quality.
