This is a format for storing graphical information, created in the CorelDRAW program. It can contain raster and vector images. It’s used exclusively in vector editors from the Corel company. CDR can be opened also with the help of Inkscape and sK1 programs.

This format was created by Nokia for use in its proprietary phones. A bitmap image was used to transfer image files between devices over a wireless connection. It was mainly used when exchanging multimedia text messages that support inserting pictures.
