This was created for the Mac OS X operating system. Unlike the old operating environment versions, the font is stored in the thread of a data file instead of in resource threads. This is a color system for displaying image and video files. The luminance component (Y) in UYVY is digitized at each point, whereas the color difference components (U, V) are digitized two times less frequently. It has a 16 bits/pixel structure, and it is used in video rendering and image editors.
