This is a multithread algorithm for file compression, developed for maximum data decompression speed. It’s implemented with the help of the free Lzop program with the use of the TAR container, combining several files into one archive that’s placed in a tar.lzo compressed file.

For archiving with files compressed based on the LHARC algorithm. It’s a popular archiving format on Amiga computers. It’s used for compressing installation packets on earlier games. Later it was replaced by the LZH compression format. Currently LHA is still distributed in Japan.
