PCX is standard presentation graphics developed by ZSoft Korporation. Used graphics program ZSoft PC Paintbrush for MS-DOS, word processing and desktop publishing applications, such as Microsoft Word and Ventura Publisher. This is a color system for displaying image and video files. The luminance component (Y) in UYVY is digitized at each point, whereas the color difference components (U, V) are digitized two times less frequently. It has a 16 bits/pixel structure, and it is used in video rendering and image editors.
