IIQ is a RAW file format used for photos took on cameras manufactured by the Danish company Phase One. A file with the IIQ extension contains an image without changes that are usually made by default when shooting in other compressed formats. IIQ data must be processed by specialized graphic software.

It combines exposures to record darker tones in the shadows or detail in the lighter areas of a given photo. HDR is able to combine multiple images with different levels of light distribution.
