RAW photo format designed for Sigma cameras. It uses Foveon technology that extends the sensor's range of sensitivity, allowing you to record the maximum amount of information with each shot. It allows you to make subtle adjustments to the white balance, color, exposure, and other settings while preserving all of the details in the photo.

This format was developed by Apple for storing vector and bitmap images with metadata. It was the main format for the QuickDraw graphics software. PCT supports 32-bit and 24-bit images. At the moment, the format is obsolete and has been superseded by more functional solutions.
