IIQ is a RAW file format used for photos took on cameras manufactured by the Danish company Phase One. A file with the IIQ extension contains an image without changes that are usually made by default when shooting in other compressed formats. This format was created by Nokia for use in its proprietary phones. A bitmap image was used to transfer image files between devices over a wireless connection. It was mainly used when exchanging multimedia text messages that support inserting pictures.
