RW2 is a RAW image format used by such Panasonic cameras as LX5 and LX7. Although, photos stored in the format cannot be printed right away, they are perfect for professional photographers because they are stored without pre-processing, which allows customizing the image settings in a video editor according to your needs. This format was developed by Apple for storing vector and bitmap images with metadata. It was the main format for the QuickDraw graphics software. PCT supports 32-bit and 24-bit images. At the moment, the format is obsolete and has been superseded by more functional solutions.
