JNX is used by Garmin devices for storing files to display satellite maps available through a BirdsEye subscription. JNX is the so-called tile format which means that a large raster image of the map is divided into smaller rectangular pieces for faster display by the navigator.

Unlike other popular e-book formats, fb2 does not specify the appearance options for different devices’ displays.
