Free Online ARJ to CPIO Converter

This is an archive with files compressed with the help of the ARJ algorithm. It supports long file names; file management splits data into several files by size to protect data integrity. It was originally developed for earlier versions of Windows and DOS. Currently a version with open source code works with almost 10 different operating systems.

A file compression format that is created in a corresponding tape archiver. It’s still used in the Linux version 2.6 kernel and the 'pax' archive installer from Apple.
