The RPM archive is a database that is comprised of a single base of program packets and a large number of small databases. For archiving with files compressed based on the LHARC algorithm. It’s a popular archiving format on Amiga computers. It’s used for compressing installation packets on earlier games. Later it was replaced by the LZH compression format. Currently LHA is still distributed in Japan.
