This is a format for storing graphical vector images used in the Adobe Illustrator program and other software for processing vector graphics. EPS can have a binary or ASCII structure. This is an expansion of the PostScript programming language that’s often used in the publishing business. It was developed in 1982 by Adobe Systems. PS also contains print coordinates for objects on a page.
